Ktigre Posted March 6, 2015 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 I'm trying to push out the client automatically and it is not doing anything according to the ccm.log. Here's the steps I've taken: Automatic device discovery was enabled Devices showed up in the console boundaries were created, boundary groups setup and the option to use for site assignment checked the boundaries are configured using subnets special service account is created and part of a group that has local admin rights on all PCs. This has been setup as the account to be used for the client push install. Right clicking any PC and adding the client manually works fine Installation property is setup with site code and fsp ccm.log does not show any events at all related to the client push. checked a few client computers and none have a ccm folder so nothing is going out to them that I can see tried deleting a few devices and rerunning a full discovery and it did not push the client out to the pcs that were rediscovered. This was a suggestion I read in another forum. if I pull up the properties on a device it shows the agent site, so I assume that it is properly configured for the site assignment. I'm stuck. I'm not sure what other things there are to try to get the automatic client push to work.
Jorgen Nilsson Posted March 6, 2015 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Hi, It sounds like it could be a firewall issue or somethng like that, anything entered in the CCM.log file on the Primary Site Server? /Jörgen
Ktigre Posted March 6, 2015 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Nope nothing showed up in the ccm.log Though I did solve it. I switched the boundaries to IP ranges instead of subnets. I can't find any reason that it would make a difference, but once that got changed, instant client pushes.
