aazani Posted March 10, 2015 Report post Posted March 10, 2015 Hi Guys, I have searched the web for this, but can't find a solution. We have now a sequence in place that images the computers (HP) using zero-touch. Everything works great, but the issue is that we have a software package that we use (Time Freeze). The sequence puts everything in place and also logs in the user (these are public PC's) so its ready to go. To enable Time Freeze, we have a registry key in RunOnce to enable the software. you can't of course enable it in your sysprepped image, because the whole point is that this software puts back any changes after a reboot. So we just capture the image while this software is disabled (admin's can enable it and disable it) and the reg key will enable it. You only have to enable it once, because after a restart it will enable itself again. The problem now is that after the OSD the public user is logged in automatically but the RunOnce key needs to be run when logged in as an admin user. This is because we have restricted almost everything in the public profile with GPO, als running regedit I was thinking of a solution that might be possible. After the OSD, let the admin user log in once, RunOnce key will run and after 1 minute it will restart the computer (this is part of the command in that key) and after the restart the public user will auto login. Is this possible? Because if i do this manually, meaning i log off after the public user is auto logged in, and than manually login as the admin. The key than is triggered and after 1 min it restarts and activates the Time Freeze. This all works manually. Any ideas?
