Boot images fail when attempting to 'Update Distribution Settings'

Hello

 

I need to add a couple options to my boot images, the error is listed below

 

Error: Boot image to update:
• Microsoft Windows PE (x86)

Error: Actions to perform:
• Add ConfigMgr binaries
• Set scratch space
• Enable Windows PE command line support

Optional components:
• Scripting (WinPE-Scripting)
• Startup (WinPE-SecureStartup)
• Network (WinPE-WDS-Tools)
• Scripting (WinPE-WMI)

Error: The wizard detected the following problems when updating the boot image.
• Failed to install required components into the boot image
The SMS Provider reported an error.: ConfigMgr Error Object:

take a look at the smsprov.log around the same time as the failure, it should tell you what went wrong

Thanks for the quick reply, I checked the smsprov.log and here is the piece for my issue - basically it says "Failed to insert binaries into the WIM file" Got any more suggestions, I have been trying to solve this for a few days now. Thanks much!

Were you adding new drivers to your boot Wim?

No I was adding a couple options such as

did you look again at the smsprov.log, try updating the boot wim again and monitor it closely
