leprejohn Posted April 16, 2015 Report post Posted April 16, 2015 Hello guys I'm having some trouble with my DP and PXE booting, I've installed SCCM 2012 R2 on a 2012 r2 standard box. I go to boot to PXE but it doesn't find the DP. However if I disable the PXE it picks up my DP and allows me to boot however it won't let me install the software tells me I need to use windows repair so I assume that's an issue with the image rather than SCCM. I have removed the DP role and re-installed it however that doesn't seem to fix the issue, I've moved the DP logs to another drive however I can't see any PXE boot log files in there nor on my C drive so I assume its something that I've done wrong. When I distribute the content it goes down to the DP fine with no errors so this has kinda puzzled me a little. Hopefully someone out there knows why this is happening and could maybe suggest how I can fix it but please beware I am a bit of a nooby when it comes to this so if I'm being a pain by asking too many questions then I'm sorry but hey we have to start somewhere. Thanks, leprejohn

Garrett804 Posted April 20, 2015 Report post Posted April 20, 2015 Can you post your SMSPXE.log file. It will be located on the drive you used to install your files for the role under \SMS_CCM\Logs\SMSPXE.log verify PXE installed correctly and you have no errors in there. Garrett804 Posted April 22, 2015 Report post Posted April 22, 2015 It looks like you're not able to connect back to the MP. Check out the following link as it should help resolve your issue. http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/7281-management-point-pxe-boot-error-80004005-after-sp1-upgrade/

Garrett804 Posted May 6, 2015 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Is this a X64 bit machine that you are trying to PXE? I notice your settings are for a 64-bit image.

Chris_J Posted May 8, 2015 Report post Posted May 8, 2015 Do you have an ip-helper on your vlan, assuming you may be using a layer 3 and not layer 2.
