giantboydetective Posted May 14, 2015 Report post Posted May 14, 2015 I have an MDT enabled TS that I am deploying to clients and via PXE. When clients use PXE they are able to complete the OSD without any problems. When I run the TS via the Config Manager client everything runs fine until the PC reboots into WinPE. Once in WinPE the workstation is never assigned an IP it only gets an APIPA. I've checked the drivers in the boot image and they seem to be correct (or else PXE probably wouldn't work). I've brought up the command prompt with F8 within WinPE and the NIC looks to be active it just won't get an IP. The TS ends up failing because the primary site server cannot be found in DNS.
