Judical Posted June 4, 2015 Report post Posted June 4, 2015 Hello, We recently made our SCCM site virtual and moved all of the data to a different VM. To say the least this caused many issues most of which we have ironed out. The remaining issue is that updates will not deploy. UpdatesDeployment.log keeps saying "EnumerateUpdates for action (UpdateActionInstall) - Total actionable updates = 0" So its not seeing the updates as available, what causes this? I rebuilt the SUP and synchronized the updates. Any help is appreciated, let me know if you need more info. -Judical
simulacra75 Posted June 5, 2015 Report post Posted June 5, 2015 If your Actionable Updates is 0 then it implies that the machine is not a member of the collection that your Software Update Group is assigned to. Maybe.
Judical Posted June 5, 2015 Report post Posted June 5, 2015 The updates are deployed to a collection with over 1500 computers in it. None of them are getting updates. If you look at the computer properties you can see the updates in the deployment tab. I can install software without any issues from Software Center. Just can't figure out why updates won't deploy. -Judical
Judical Posted June 5, 2015 Report post Posted June 5, 2015 Just setup a new client and I am seeing "Failed to refresh Resync state message. Error = 0x87d00310" in the UpdatesStore.log file. Searching online people suggest rebuilding the SUP which I have already done. Anyone have any experience with this error? -Judical
Garrett804 Posted June 25, 2015 Report post Posted June 25, 2015 Uninstall the SUP role, wait for it to complete. Uninstall WSUS. Reboot Install WSUS but don't configure it Install SUP Check all Classifications but don't check any products and run a sync. Once sync completes check the classifications and products you want to sync and sync manually again. Verify the updates are shown in your catalog. Create update group or deploy individual update to test collection with test machine. On the client machine run a software updates scan cycle.
