Deploy original boot image x86 SCCM

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

We just implemented SCCM2012 in our test environment everything has been setup and looking pretty okay, I made a custom win7x64 boot image with command support and distributed to our DPs, kicked off a new task sequence build using a USB key (no pxe just yet) it sees the task sequence (so boundarys are okay) but when i click next it cannot find the custom boot image i created.

So just wondering do i have to distribute the original boot image x86 or x64 before i make a custom one and distributing that?

Thanks

check your custom boot image is set for the below on the data source tab

"deploy this boot image from the pxe enabled distribution point"
