In SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION_MANAGER i see "WSUS Configuration Manager cant publish clients install package version 5.00.8239.100 in SUP" Errors in WCM.log: PublishApplication(1993B2E7-DA80-48C3-97DE-C9C528F73A2D) failed with error System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): CreateDirectory failed~~ at Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.FileSystemUtilities.CreateDirectory(String path)~~ at Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.BaseApi.Publisher.CreatePackageDirectory(String customDirectoryName)~~ at Microsoft.UpdateServices.Internal.BaseApi.Publisher.PublishSignedPackage(String sourceCabFile, String packageDirectoryName)~~ at Microsoft.SystemsManagementServer.WSUS.WSUSServer.PublishApplication(String sPackageId, String sSDPFile, String sCabFile) ERROR: Failed to publish sms client to WSUS, error = 0x80004005 Failed to publish client with error = 0x80004005 Environment: Windows Server 2012, 1 Primary Site SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 Can somebody help me to resolve this problem? Eswar Koneti Posted July 15, 2015 Report post Posted July 15, 2015 it looks like access denied to create directory and publish the content to WSUS server. make sure you have added SCCM server computer account as local admin on WSUS Server.
