Judical Posted July 14, 2015 Report post Posted July 14, 2015 Hello, I am having issues installing Windows Updates. Office updates are installing without any issues. UpdatesDeployment.log states the following; Job error (0x87d00665) received for assignment ({dd2a49e0-b286-4d72-84dc-2c9ca36fa059}) action Updates will not be made available After this it goes on to say - EnumerateUpdates for action (UpdateActionInstall) - Total actionable updates = 0 UpdatesStore.log is finding 122 updates that are deployed to this machine that aren't installed. This seems to only happen to newly deployed machines. If I were to uninstall a few updates from my fully updated machine SCCM will push the updates back to it. My question is, is there an update that needs to be installed to allow the rest of the updates to install? I installed the update to Windows Update from July 2014 but that didn't seem to make a difference. Any help is appreciated. -Judical
Eswar Koneti Posted July 15, 2015 Report post Posted July 15, 2015 do you see any updates in software center ?Total actionable updates = 0 means none of the deployed applications are needed by the computer. Have a look at the default compliance reports to see if the this client really required any of the patches that you deployed or you can have a look at wuahandler.log ,windowsupdate.log
Judical Posted July 15, 2015 Report post Posted July 15, 2015 I do not see the updates in software center only available applications. UpdatesStore.log is finding that many updates are missing(which they are), all of the updates are deployed to the collection that the computers reside in. Office updates and Endpoint Protection definitions are deploying without any issues. WUAHandler.log and WindowsUpdate.log have no errors.
