WSUS is not integrated in the SCCM because my IT manager didn’t want it.
Now my question, is it possible to install updates with a script?
I found a script in MDT2010 called ZTIwindowsupdate.wsf and it was in the folder Scripts.
I copy that folder into a SCCM share folder and create a package with no program; in the TS I create a command line task with the following command line “cscript.exe \\sccm\Packag$\MDT-Package\scripts\ZTIWindowsUpdate.wsf" and selected that package.
When I start the deployment everything go’s fine until that part, it downloads the updates but it seems that it doesn’t start to install the updates.
I deed already a few tests and after an hour or 2 I shut down the computer.

Hi all,
I have a question concerning windows updates
We have a SCCM 2007 R2 and we have a WSUS.
WSUS is not integrated in the SCCM because my IT manager didn’t want it.
Now my question, is it possible to install updates with a script?

Has some one experience on this?
Thanks
