Damo Posted September 7, 2015 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Quick question, do I need to apply the cumulative updates if I am running SCCM2012 R2 CU3 before I upgrade to SCCM2012 R2 SP1? or will the SP1 install take care of the previous features and updates? Thanks Damo
Jorgen Nilsson Posted September 7, 2015 Report post Posted September 7, 2015 Hi, No that is not needed except for in this rare scenario "Replication between a central administration site (CAS) and primary sites may be blocked after you upgrade the CAS to System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1. This problem only occurs in environments that have tens of thousands of deployments for legacy software distribution packages. When this occurs, the Offer Manager component on the primary site server will appear to be stalled the Offermgr.log file on the primary site server seems to be "stuck," and no log entries are recorded in the Offermgr.log file. You can install Cumulative Update 5 to prevent this issue from occurring. Regards,Jörgen
