andywood86 Posted September 17, 2015 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 I don't have any passwords set on Task Sequences or PXE? Where could this setting be? It's stating the media is password protected

andywood86 Posted September 17, 2015 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Hi, Are you booting through PXE? then the password is set on the Distribution point under the PXE tab. /Jörgen Hi Jörgen, I thought it may have been. However, I've removed this from both my Primary and Secondary sites and it still appears. I am PXE booting, I've even tried inserting a password that I know of but it doesn't seem to work. Jaybone Posted September 17, 2015 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Dumb question - did you redistribute the boot images after taking the password off?
andywood86 Posted September 17, 2015 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Dumb question - did you redistribute the boot images after taking the password off? I just redistributed to ensure I had and yes, it's still doing the same thing unfortunately
Jaybone Posted September 17, 2015 Report post Posted September 17, 2015 Are you sure you're getting your boot image, and not someone else's? Boot server'll show on the screen while PXE is starting up, and the path to the image will show after the screen blanks and starts showing the text progress bar. Yeah I've just tried both boot images (x86) and (x64), they can only pxe to this server. I've even tried building a new Task Sequence but to no avail. This is killing me! I'm not so sure it's the boot image either, but correct me if I'm wrong as it's saying the Task Sequence is password protected
anyweb Posted September 18, 2015 Report post Posted September 18, 2015 do you have any other distribution points enabled for PXE ?
andywood86 Posted September 18, 2015 Report post Posted September 18, 2015 do you have any other distribution points enabled for PXE ? Yes on our SCCM 2007 setup, but this is on a totally different IP range away from this on a different DHCP scope. I only have the two distribution points enabled for PXE in this environment
