Heinz98366 Posted October 1, 2015 Report post Posted October 1, 2015 Problem: After the OS has been installed all other subsequent task sequences are bypassed. Environment: Hyper-V 2012 Legacy "external" network adapter Type 1 VM I have created "bootable" media from my task sequence image and am loading my VM O/S from the DVD drive. It installs the OS, configure Windows setting, joins the domain and installs the SCCM client. After that it boots into the OS and finishes, ignoring the other task sequences. I have verified that the client is installed and active. Is this an issue specific with Windows 8.1 and SCCM 2012 R@? I never had this issue with Windows 7.... Rocket Man Posted October 4, 2015 Report post Posted October 4, 2015 Have you tired removing the additional restart task you have attached directly after the configmgr agent installation. The agent installation will restart by default (so no need for the additional restart step) and perhaps when it loads back up and initialises it does not have time to come out of provisioning mode due to the other restart? NickolajA Posted October 4, 2015 Report post Posted October 4, 2015 Instead of guessing here, have you examined the smsts.log file for the reason it's failing?
