SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 Prerequisite failure

Morning all,

 

Long time lurker, first time poster(although I could have sworn I was a member before and have posted before!)

 

I have a long running 2012R2 install, and I now want to upgrade to SP1 to get W10 deployment features and all the bug fixes.

 

I have the WAIK 10 and 8.1 installed, v10.0.26624 and v8.100.26866 respectively.

 

I have downloaded the SCEP appended version of the installer, but cannot get past the prereq checker, it fails on all 3 AIK:

 

User State Migration Tool

Windows Deployment Tool

Windows Preinstallation Environment

 

All 3 are installed and reinstalled, am I doing something fundamentally wrong or is this a bug?

 

Server is 2012R2 patched up to date, it is a single site server, and have checked the column for the server name to check it is this server.

 

Any insights?

Ok, seems it wont work with WADK 10 installed, as the prereq is 8.1. So I uninstalled WADK 10 and it now proceeding! V strange

 

Answered my own question, but hope it helps anyone else who has both WADK's installed and cant upgrade.

You can't have both ADK 8.1 and ADK 10 installed. You'd have to go with either one, and just to be clear, both are supported for ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1.
