adurrant Posted October 7, 2015 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 Hello all, I've ran into a few issues with SCCM 2012 R2 SP1, I have a remote 2 node SQL cluster, essentially one of the nodes failed a few months ago so it's been online for a while, during this time the SCCM DB was moved to this cluster, today the 2nd node is now online so I was expecting that SCCM was install what it needed on this server, I am however running into issues with SCCM thinking that a drive of E:\ exists in the sitecomp.log however this drive does not exist on the node, is there anyway of changing the path? or will I need to reset my SQL configuration again from the setup? NickolajA Posted October 12, 2015 Report post Posted October 12, 2015 Just a lousy answer, but have you attempted to create the E: volume to see what happens?
SCCMOG Posted October 17, 2016 Report post Posted October 17, 2016 Hi Adurrant, You have probably solved this by now but we just ran into the same issue here on SCCM 1602.... To solve this head to the Primary site server and open the registry. Navigate to HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\SMS\COMPONENTS\SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER\Multisite Component Servers\"Cluster machine name" There is a value with the name "Installation Directory" Change the data of that to the correct drive letter. Then open services on the Primary site server. Restart the "SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER" and watch the sitecomp.log for conformation of the fix. Hope that helps someone if not yourself. Cheers, SCCMOG
