0 GarthMJ Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 Does the original file names have to be exact the same ? I created the rule manualy.. without importing it. Will it make a difference ? All that matters is the file name, version and language.
0 GarthMJ Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 I am using the WMI Explorer and the rules have been applied to the machines. When you launch one of the exes, are you seeing that the rule is being triggered in the mtrmgr.log? if not them the rule is like setup wrong. 0 fsoares Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 Just because there is a rule doesn't mean it is enable, Are the Rule enabled? Notice that TimeHorton.exe is not enabled. Yes they are enabled on the server and the client is getting them to.

0 GarthMJ Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 So now run the Software Metering Usage Report Cycle on the Cm12 Client. I'm heading out to vote and change offices. :-)
0 fsoares Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 from my understanding the client is logging the information.. the problem is , i think for some reason she is not being sumarized or sent to the server... because when i go create a report on software metering reports... the filders that i should select the Month and Year.. are empty .. in the lab i have them because i executed the utility to for the sumarization. 0 GarthMJ Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 Did you run the Client Side SWM cycle? Exactly what report are you trying to run? It sound like one of the reports that take 37 days to populate.
0 fsoares Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 yes i did run and the mtgmgr.log shows that he matches processes with the rules. Example.. i am running a notepad rule to see if it triggers... and he does. for the Corel rule i created.. i cant see anything in the logs... because the logs only go so far back in time... i am trying to run, in the software metering reports, any of them .. and i dont get data.. see the print. 0 GarthMJ Posted October 19, 2015 Report post Posted October 19, 2015 First off I never recommend accessing the reports via the console too much overhead too many issues. Instead only access then via the web. Second start with a simple report. All software metering rules applied to this site. then run Software metering summarization progress then run
