JacobE Posted October 27, 2015 Report post Posted October 27, 2015 Hi guys, Where I'm currently working the 2012R2 environment is hardly used, they use it for security patching and OS deployment, thats it. Anyway, it was setup by a previous monkey and the content Library was left to go on the local server C drive, which is only 250gb, and its now full up. So they want to move it and have offered me a network drive. Now, I know I can use the content library transfer kit to move it no problem, but the question is access...is SCCM going to be able to access it from a networked location, or does it have to stay locally? GarthMJ Posted October 27, 2015 Report post Posted October 27, 2015 What do you need to content library? Are you talking about the source files or the actual files that client download to their PC? For the first one you can use the network share. For the second one , no it must be a local drive. but you can move it to another drive on the same server.
