USMT Failing at 'Release User Data' for OSD

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I'm using SCCM 2012 SP1 to re-deploy an OS to a computer, and wanting to capture use details with USMT. I'm getting an error message saying the following;

<![LOG[Failed to run the action: Capture User Files and Settings.
The printer is out of paper. (Error: 8007001C; Source: Windows)
I've had a look at Scanstate.log and found the following;

I've had a look at my USMT folder, and I can see the migdocs.xml file, so I'm not too sure what to do about this. I ran a search on my SCCM server for CBT00006 which I found here (C:\SMSPKGC$\CBT00006) and I can see the .xml file as well.

I just had a look in the C:\SMSPKGC$\CBT00006 folder, and found that amd64 folder wasn't there.

I copied it there and ran OSD again, and this time it didn't error out. But USMT didn't actually work. The machine has been re-deployed with a new OS (still Windows 7), but the profiles haven't loaded.

I will create a new thread for that issue.
