SCCM 2012 R2 OSD Apply Driver Packages Failed

Dear all,

 

I have OSD to client follow topic: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/topic/10856-sccm-2012-osd-apply-driver-packages-without-importing-them-to-the-database/

 

but this failed. my client not receive any drivers.

 

On my case, my client model don't have driver pack, so i have install an extract driver follow this topic : http://www.hayesjupe.com/sccm-osd-driver-best-practices/

And I create package with this type: post-32222-0-01597800-1447929196.jpg

And on my smsts.log i have see this apply driver successfull :

*edit* I think i know what you mean... I can see many issues with what your trying to do.. basically I wouldnt use a software package.. You import your drivers to create a driver package.. like:

Hi Windz

 

I actually did this process with one model last week and it does work to my surprise.

Straight off from your snippets that you provided I see an issue:

If file exists should be if folder exists??

 

 

EDIT: The only issue I see with this method is that there is no real driver management, for e:g you can not edit a single driver and add it to another package!! But however it sill works and in the long run maybe a space saver on the server!

I've never tried this method, but I can see straight away your still in WinPE and are trying to detect 'C:\Windows" when I can see everything is applied to E: . Im not sure if you have already a captured image, you may need to set the OSDPreserveDriveLetter variable to false aswell as your partitioning options
