dubsolo Posted December 1, 2015 Report post Posted December 1, 2015 I have inherited the following ConfigMgr set up:Server 2008 R2ConfigMgr 2012 R2 CU4SQL Server 2008 R2ADK 8.1MDT 2012 Update 1I am looking for the correct upgrades to allow OSD with Windows 10. I will create an identical server set up and then run testdbupgrade on a copy of the database backup before doing anything to production. From what I have read from the step by step guides on this site, it looks like I will need to perform the following: Uninstall ADK 8.1Install ADK 10Install ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1 (and then install CU2)Install MDT 2013 Update 1Install Driver bloat hotfix Is my thought process on track? ZeZe Posted December 2, 2015 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 Reboot at the end Edited: Seriously, if you come a cross with this issue: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/topic/13243-boot-image-x64-error-loading-task-sequence/ Don't panic! Just wait 24h and the keys will have the data that will allow you to run the your task sequence! I made some things also in the middle but not sure if they help me or not. If you come a cross with this, let me know. I'll tell you which role or settings I changed...
willisj318 Posted December 2, 2015 Report post Posted December 2, 2015 Make sure you have a solid backup of any DBs even if the DB test runs OK. If they are VMs take a snapshot prior to upgrading.
