SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 upgrade to Config Manager

Hello All,

 

I have SCCM 2012 R2 Sp1 Cu1. Its on windows server 2008 R2 and Sql server 2008 R2 SQL. Would I be able to do in place upgrade?

 

Please advise.

 

Is configmanager ( sccm 2016) going to support server 2008 r2?

while Server 2008 R2 is currently supported, it is deprecated and planned to be removed from support in 12 months with SCCM current branch. See https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt628077.aspx.
