WinPE 10 and Intel i217 Nic Drivers - Network Drops During Imaging

I am experiencing the exact issue described here.

driver info:

using e1d65x64 version 12.13.17.4

Laptop (Dell e6440) will netboot and start the Task Sequence fine (using ADK 10/WinPE 10). After about 30-60 minutes the network driver seems to have issues and switches to APIPA. People in that thread suggest getting the drivers directly from Intel and importing into WinPE. I have tried this but SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 will error out on the Intel "direct" Driver (e1d65x64 12.13.17.7) and will not add it to the Boot Image. I am currently using the newest Dell A01 WinPE 10 driver pack that imports fine into SCCM (specifically driver e1d65x64 version 12.13.17.4)

Has anyone else ran into this issue and have a fix?
