Managing vmware View clients

I have a View environment set up. There is a combination of persistent and non-persistent clones. The non-persistent ones will be recomposed on a somewhat regular schedule (like every couple months). What is the proper way to manage the SCCM client on them?

 

I use SCCM to deploy software, Windows Updates and manage SCEP.

Depending on the exact scenario, I would probably put the ConfigMgr client in the image. There is a TechNet article that explains how to clean the client before finalizing the image.

Do you have a link to the TechNet article? I looked and all I found was for SCCM 2007.
