ZeZe Posted January 5, 2016 Report post Posted January 5, 2016 Have anyone upgrade to 1511? If yes, any remarks?!
Peter van der Woude Posted January 5, 2016 Report post Posted January 5, 2016 Works like a charm. What kind of remarks are you exactly looking for?
ZeZe Posted January 5, 2016 Report post Posted January 5, 2016 Thanks! I'll try it on my lab tomorrow! Just wondering if there were any issues after the update... I had in the past! If works like a charm, it's music to my hears! hihi

ZeZe Posted January 21, 2016 Report post Posted January 21, 2016 Apparently Microsoft suggests that we don't install 1511 if we're using ADK 10 with boot images 10.1.10586.0... http://blogs.technet.com/b/configmgrteam/archive/2015/11/20/issue-with-the-windows-adk-for-windows-10-version-1511.aspx By installing the first version I'll avoid issues, but... does anyone has a workaround to the issue? Actually I was reading one post - about how to build a task sequence that upgrades from win7/8 to Win10... Would be this an example that will not work? http://blogs.technet.com/b/configmgrteam/archive/2014/10/29/how-to-upgrade-to-win-10-using-the-task-sequence-in-sc-2012-r2-configmgr.aspx
anyweb Posted January 21, 2016 Report post Posted January 21, 2016 that task sequence is for Configuration Manager 2012 R2, the same functionality (and better) is built into Configuration Manager Current Branch (version 1511),

ZeZe Posted January 25, 2016 Report post Posted January 25, 2016 Another question, but this time about licensing... I want to download the ConfigMgr 1511 but I can only do it from MSDN, Microsoft Evaluation Center and Volume Licensing Service Center. If you download and install ConfigMgr over my current lab (which is R2 with SP1 (CU2)), will this product return to "evaluation" or can I keep my key and use it with this version?
