Maintenance Window

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am in the process of setting up automated windows patching for a selection of machines. The deployment side of things is working, but it is not waiting for the collections maintenance window to begin before installing and rebooting the server. After doing some digging within the servicewindowmanager log and using policyspy on the clients, these machines appear to have think they have an open maintenance window I cannot see within the SCCM console.

The maintenance window appears to be against the All Desktop and Server Clients device collection, but this is greyed out. I suspect this must be an old policy prior to upgrading to SP1. The window also doesn't show up when querying the SQL db (SELECT * from v_ServiceWindow).

Does anyone have any suggestions on removing this?

Also the update group does not have the allow installation or reboot selected.

Many thanks,

Daniel
