FazzaGBR Posted February 10, 2016 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 I'm pushing out a Package using SCCM 2012 R2 and for the last few days in the Deployments window it says it has installed successfully on 50% of the computers in the collection I have deployed it to.However, if you go on to the 50% that SCCM says doesnt have the package, it's there! So it has deployed the Package and installed it OK but despite the computers being used most of the day, SCCM still thinks it's only 50% successful! What's going on?! Ath3na Posted February 10, 2016 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 Use reporting to get accurate information. The console updates periodically and depends on how old the deployment is. What happens if you run the status summeriser, does it update the information? What does execmgr.log say on one of the clients that doesn't report it has the software installed via the monitoring node?
ZeZe Posted February 10, 2016 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 use the monitoring, deployments run summarization for that deployment. However, you should consult the execmgr.log and troubleshoot if there are any issues with that package! Check if you don't have maintenance windows set for some of the computers, otherwise the packages/applications won't run p.s. look at the "maximum time" that the program or application can run, otherwise it can conflict with your maintenance window!
FazzaGBR Posted February 11, 2016 Report post Posted February 11, 2016 I've never come across the Status Summerizer before, is this something I need to set up as I cant see anything in the admin console?
ZeZe Posted February 11, 2016 Report post Posted February 11, 2016 Administration - Site - Status Summarizes But you can always run manually for the deployment that you really need. Do you now see more results ?!
FazzaGBR Posted February 11, 2016 Report post Posted February 11, 2016 Hi!I think I must be going blind then as I've looked under Administration and I dont have a 'site' option.
ZeZe Posted February 11, 2016 Report post Posted February 11, 2016 Sorry, I meant: Administration - Site configuration - Sites (select the site) button "Status Summarizers" I guess there you can short howlong will take to sum your deployments.
