I'm having a little trouble with my WDS Server which runs on a Windows Server 2012 R2. I followed this tutorial by BranchCache Bob (
) to set up DHCP policies in order to get BIOS and UEFI modes to boot up into WDS. The DHCP server runs on the same machine as the WDS server (i.e. I use the DHCP server option 60).
First scenario -> PXE boot via BIOS: Works totally fine. Client boots via PXE, receives an ip address, lets me choose a boot image, loads the wim file and initiates the Windows setup.
Second scenario -> PXE boot via UEFI: Client boots via PXE, receives an ip address, lets me choose a boot image, loads the wim file and then the screen goes black instead of starting the Windows setup. Nothing happens after that. Only thing I can do is shut down the computer (Ctrl+Alt+Del does not even work) and boot it again.
Couldn't find a solution online and hope you guys can help me out with this one! If you need more information just let me know.
