bostonrake Posted February 12, 2016 Report post Posted February 12, 2016 I'm curious if there is a way to setup a SCCM 2007 package to be pulled? In other words, techs in my office could pull up the agent and some how have a package or 2 that I setup where they could pull it from SCCM. Or is this just a 2012 feature? Thanks, Doug
bramk Posted February 16, 2016 Report post Posted February 16, 2016 Maybe check out this tool https://sourceforge.net/projects/smsclictr/ You can remotely control agent actions such as execute an advertisement, machine policy refresh etc.
GarthMJ Posted February 16, 2016 Report post Posted February 16, 2016 There is little difference between CM07 and CM12 with respect the app deployment. What do you mean by Pull? Optional Advertisement??? Pull DP (Branch DPs)???
JLai Posted April 18, 2016 Report post Posted April 18, 2016 If you are referring to something like Software Center, then yes, it's called "Run Advertised Programs" in the Windows Control Panel for SCCM 2007 clients. On the Interaction tab of the SCCM advertisement, you check the box that says "Allow users to run the program independently of assignments", with that checked, your package/deployment will be listed in the "Run Advertised Programs" for the end user to initiate the install.
