JSteimle Posted February 19, 2016 Report post Posted February 19, 2016 We just setup our SCCM 2012 and are in the process of testing before client deployment to campuses. Prior to this we thick imaged via WDS. As part of the setup process we exported some of the WDS images and added them to the SCCM and created task sequences in order to image via PXE. As part of the task sequence the SCCM client is added to the machine. When I deploy the images thru SCCM via PXE the client installs ok. After approving the device in SCCM the client control panel pulls actions and tabs, ccm notification goes to enabled etc. On some of the images the client machine goes on to become managed and installs endpoint protection. On most of the images the machine never goes to managed and endpoint protection does not install. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? anyweb Posted February 19, 2016 Report post Posted February 19, 2016 why are you approving the device in SCCM, it should be automatic unless they are workgroup based computers, how are your boundaries setup ?
JSteimle Posted February 19, 2016 Report post Posted February 19, 2016 For now we are workgroup based. Boundaries are set up by IP subnet.
