NobleComputing Posted February 26, 2016 Report post Posted February 26, 2016 All I need to do is copy a file from \\server\sources$\software\bytepro\file.xml to the c:\program data\ directory on one of the client machines in a collection. I thought I could just create a task sequence that looks like this : I get an error
GarthMJ Posted February 26, 2016 Report post Posted February 26, 2016 So CM12 runs a local system account. This account will NOT have access to that share. Personally I would create a package/program to this this and deploy that to your DPs. It would take about "two seconds" to do this and would save you a ton of head aches. spgsitsupport Posted March 12, 2016 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 Ofcourse you could also make computer object in question (or all computers in AD) to belong to a group that does have filesystem access rights to the share if you do not want to use the DP (might be unsupported, but will work anyway) Seb
