SCCM Client Not Installing on Windows 10 10240 Build

Hi,

 

I have around 200 machines that im testing installing Windows 10 (10240 Build) but for some reason the SCCM client doesn't seem to install. I haven't yet done the patch for SCCM but the client doesn't even install if i try to do it manually. Any thoughts?

what does the ccmsetup.log file reveal ?

I did check out the error code but still couldn't get the bottum of it. Below is the last snippet of the log:

Can you please in a (evelated) cmd line try to run this from the same folder that got ccmsetup.exe (normally c:\windows\ccmsetup):

ccmsetup.exe /skipprereq:windowsupdateagent30-x64.exe

 

Found it here http://ccmexec.com/2015/04/sccm-2012-client-fails-to-install-windows-10-build-10049/and it seems to apply to you even if the build isn't the same the issue seems extermly similiar. and it is the update agent that gives you the error

Hi,

 

Thanks for the reply. I tried the above but still no luck. It apparently runs fine but to no avail. There is a service in the services which hadn't started so tried starting that and that didn't start either. I carrying out the patch for SCCM tomorrow so hopefully this might shine some light on it.

Just wanted to let you all know that i did the patch and the client seems to be working. SP 1 seems to have resolved the issue!

I recently upgraded to SCCM SP1 and it seems to resolved the issue. I could even manually install the client and it worked. It could either be the SP1 update or the fact i updated the client aswell.
