Some Mac clients are showing up inactive in SCCM after enrollment

Recommended Posts

Hi guys..hopefully someone can help with this because we have not been able to figure out why some newly enrolled macs show up with inactive status in SCCM.

We are using the steps mentioned here:

http://www.jamesbannanit.com/2012/10/enrol-mac-os-x-clients-in-configuration-manager-2012-sp1/

The "inactive" macs are on the network and can be pinged.

In our discovery method I noticed that we have network discovery and AD discovery turned on. I have read somewhere that leaving these two turned on can lead to duplicate entries in SCCM.

Any suggestions?
