How i can configure 2610-48 ProCurve Switch on Server 2008.

Hi

 

I have Server 2008 and i am using ProCurve 2610-48 Switch, now i come to know that i have to enabel Spanning Tree Protocol on switch to avaid getting WDS DHCP error.

I connect console to the Switch and other end on my Server NIC (have 2 interfaces , tried both interface ), but i can not see any blinking of light and nothing else , can someone help me with this ? How i can get in to the console to configure Swithh and enable STP.

have you tried reading the manual for the switch, sorry but it's not my area at all

I have search on web and found there is some problem with Server 2008, i used third party tool like PUTTY and HYPERTERMINAL but still not worked
