OSD Build Task Sequence

My OSD Build TS for my SOE Image of XP SP3 stopped working yesterday. Nothing has changed just i had some sleep.

 

This morning i have

UPDATED DP's

refreshed DP

Confirmed Packages are processed to DP and present

 

Issue appears to occur when i hit the Configure task.

 

the logs tell me access denied, so re-acl'd, deleted package, updated DP's

 

same issue.

if its ok verify that dns is working ok (switches etc)

Sorry, yes NAA is OK, DNS looks fine (can ping hostname and fqdn of all DP's and SCCM Servers)

weird....this thing is back... this time on 2 different TS's.... going to recreate the MDT Package i think

OK, so no idea whats going on here.....

the errors of note i can see are:

when searching through the zticonfigure.log

last line is

ZTI ERROR - Unhandled error returned by zticonfigure: Invalid procedure call or argument (5)

 

 

 

searching the ZTI ERROR turns up squat.....

 

 

have deleted the MDT Package and recreated and distributed.... no joy...

can you show me a screenshot of where in the ts its failing

yeah could have but seems to be resolved, may have been permissions on the source directory being changed but unsure....next time i will screengrab it for you...

if you disable bits on the dp does it work ?

yup tried that also, seems to be BITS related. tried troubleshooting it in lab but other things got in the way....

will clone again and try later.

I know this is an old topic but I have the same exact problem. MDT was working two days ago and all of a sudden it stops at the "Install Operating System" portion of the task sequence. Even images and tasks that were previously working and untouched do not work. Nothing has changed. I have tried recreating the task sequence, reimporting the operating systems, checked everything I can think of and no luck. Any ideas?
