chuiting Posted December 5, 2016 Report post Posted December 5, 2016 We are having some issues with installing Office 2016 during out OSD Task Sequence. The same problem happens when we just deploy the package to a computer. Half the time it works just great and there are not issues. The other half, it gets the files, but the install never completes. It will error out after it reaches the maximum run time. The smsts log shows 'Waiting for job status notification' while it sits there. This is really confusing since we can be doing 2 computers side by side and one will work fine and the other will error out. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Our package is Office 2016 32 bit. We have one MSP file that is located in the updates folder. Our command line to install is just setup.exe.
