sysad.noob Posted December 14, 2016 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 Hi, Im newly promoted to System Admin team from Tech Support. And i'm having a problem with regards to SCCM OS Creation. Because the engineer who handle the SCCM was already resigned (no endorsement). There's a Step by step procedure but i don't have idea in some of the steps. Like this "Insert the SCCM Media" TSMBautorun.exe (cd). We can't find the CD anymore. What is that CD so i can download it?. anyone can help. thank! anyweb Posted December 14, 2016 Report post Posted December 14, 2016 I'd recommend you use virtual machines for operating system reference image creation that way you keep it driver agnostic and it's easy to deploy the captured image to real hardware using customized Apply Driver Package steps based on wmi queries, the build and capture process is how you create a new reference image using SCCM, but you can also create a reference image using MDT, what version of SCCM do you have ? and what operating system are you trying to deploy ? the guides here will help you
sysad.noob Posted December 17, 2016 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 Thank for the reply admin. Actually I already have the CPU with OS, drivers, application needed and capture the image. after that, I don't know the next step. I'm confused what is that SCCM Media and run the TSMBautorun.exe Btw, it's SCCM 2012 and winser 2012.
