rplume Posted December 19, 2016 Report post Posted December 19, 2016 Hi all, I support about 30 unique model laptops and desktops in our environment. I've run into an issue with Surface Pro 4 devices and Surface Book devices only in OSD. When it hits the step to install a list of applications, it hangs. You can still F8 to view logs, etc. But the logs don't really generate much to go off of at all, such as what you'd expect from an app that's waiting on user feedback or something. All other models in our environment image fine - the issue is isolated to Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices. It gets through installing the operating system (W10), the driver pack, etc... I've even tried to switch up the order of the applications in the application list and it does the same thing - so the application itself doesn't matter. Has anyone run into this issue or have some words of wisdom? Thank you!
Config Mangler Posted December 20, 2016 Report post Posted December 20, 2016 I find if you get that far and it doesn't do applications it's a network driver or domain join issue. Check you can ping the SCCM box FQDN and check it is domain joined.
