rshiva62 Posted January 30, 2017 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 Hi, We are running Microsoft SCCM 2007 SP2 in our environment. I currently use this for patch management, specifically to apply patches to Windows 7 systems. We are looking to deploy this to patch Windows Server 2012R2 systems. Can anyone let know what fixes are required in order to get SCCM 2007 SP2 work to patch Server 2012 R2 systems?
Jorgen Nilsson Posted January 31, 2017 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 Hi, SCCM 2007 that was a while ago, according to the documentation you need this. "These operating systems are supported for installing the Configuration Manager 2007 SP2 client. To add optional support for these operating systems to the supported platform list, see KB 2861663 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base. These operating systems are not supported for operating system deployment with Configuration Manager 2007." You have a complete list of hotfixes for SCCM 207 here: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/4505.configuration-manager-2007-sp2-list-of-microsoft-support-knowledge-base-articles.aspx regards,Jörgen
