nhottinger Posted March 1, 2017 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 Our SCCM environment is OLD (2012 RTM 5.00.7711.0000) and we need to update. Everything is running fine but we want to start testing Windows 10 for corporate use and need to upgrade first. What is the best / quickest path to get to SCCM 1610. I've been searching around and found this site - https://www.systemcenterdudes.com/sccm-2012-version-numbers/but I'm not sure which steps, if any, I can skip. Any help is appreciated. spgsitsupport Posted March 11, 2017 Report post Posted March 11, 2017 Way easier IMO is to create new server & use migration!
YPCC Posted March 22, 2017 Report post Posted March 22, 2017 ^^ Agreed, less impact to a live environment and plenty of time to tweak the new site. Migration is really simple and carries over most of the configs too.
