Unable to download 1606 Prepreq

I have Server 2008 Standard with SCCM 2012 SP1. V 5.00.7804.1000.

 

I am trying to download 1606 Prereq files but it keeps failing at the end with the errors below. I am able to download them on my Windows 7 machine all the way thru, copy them to the server, but when I choose to use previous downloaded files, it gives me same error and deletes the file SQLSysClrTypes.msi.

I have tried this, but still no go.

 

Workaround: On the site server, modify the following registry key to match the following, and then either restart the SMS_Executive service, or wait up to 24 hours for the next automatic download cycle.

• Key to edit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WinTrust\Trust Providers\Software Publishing

• Value for State: Set to 146944 Decimal or 0x00023e00 Hexadecimal
