Capture Image - Different Language

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am new to SCCM so apologises if it is vague or not the correct terminology.

I have set the Configuration Manager language to English but I am trying to take an image of a desktop that has a German build on (Win10 x64).

I followed this guide to capture my image which did work with an english build and this also deployed fine - So I know this works.

https://geekdudes.wordpress.com/201...tem-center-configuration-manager-2012-r2-sp1/

While it is capturing the image it fails at SYSPREP and looking at the smsts.log it the error is: "Failed to find resource file TSRES.DLL for locale 1031".

I therefore made the changes to the boot image as specified in the below link (Section on "How to change the language in Windows PE via Configmgr". But I am still getting the same error message as above when it is trying to run SYSPREP.

Any help or advise on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Heeren
