SMB Share to use as Data Source?

Is it possible to use a Linux SMB share for the Data Source location?

It might work, try it but honestly I have problems with some SMB servers used as package shares.

Thanks for the quick response. Currently it is not working, at least with the methods I have tried:

Setting anonymous access on the share
Granting Machine permissions through an AD group
Modifying all of the SMS_ services to run as an AD user instead of the local system (Not only did this not work, it prevented anything from working)

After all that and no luck, I figured I'd ask and maybe get lucky

It is not a huge issue if I cannot, It just means I need more server disk space to relocate my applications.
