Upgrade to 1702 failed to update database

Recommended Posts

Hi All! I'm asking for Your help. The following SCCM infrastructure is available: CAS and two Primary sites. When upgrading from version 1802 to 1902, there were problems on one of the Primary site. The ConfMgr database cannot be upgraded. Primary site configurations are identical. CmUpdate file attached. Forgot to say that the Primary website on which the problem has three Secondary site. Replication between them takes place in the normal mode. I hope for Your help.

Need some assistance. I've been trying to upgrade from 1606. I've tried going 1610,1702,1710 and the update continues to fail. Under monitoring I get failed updating the admin console binaries. When I look at the CPUpdate.log I see failed to process AdminUI UI manifest.xml and then further down I get Failed to apply update changes  0x80004005. I really need to figure out what is preventing me from updating this. I am doing the update via offline mode and below is a snippet of my CMUpdate.log. Thanks for the help

it could be anything, is there 3rd party av installed on the server ? any details of the setup would be useful as would a full cmupdate.log, that snippet doesn't help unfortunately and the failure would be before that...
