ajmalloy Posted June 16, 2017 Report post Posted June 16, 2017 Hello everyone, I am having a new issue on an existing SCCM implementation where the client does not install correctly. It looks like what most people have termed 'stuck in provisioning mode'. The version is correct in control panel but it shows "none" for valid certificate. This would obviously cause communication issues because we allow only SSL encryption. We do deploy our own certificate via Group Policy and I believe that is working correctly and installing om the clients. I have walked through the ccmexec logs on the client and see no real helpful information. It looks like WMI is working correctly. The true odd part is that if you try to open software center - before you get the failure message, it shows a rather old version of software center with the tabs across the top and not down the side like the newest version that we are currently deploying. This seems odd to me because its a new image, and I believe that the only version of the client on the deployment share is the newest version. It seems like after numerous reboots (gpupdates?)and many hours it will eventually correct itself , but nowhere near acceptable. Any thoughts are very appreciated. itrider Posted October 6, 2017 Report post Posted October 6, 2017 Was there any resolution to this problem? I recently (past 2 weeks) have had this problem present itself. I can run the powershell command from KB4016483 and that fixes the issues; however, this is a recent problem.
