FEP not applying updates

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a very strange problem. I have multiple collections for servers and workstations at different sites. I have the same Automatic Deployment Rule setup, and then I have a separate deployment for each collection. My updates are deploying to all but one of my sites. All my clients show inactive for this, the problem site as well. I attached screenshots of my issues. My ccmmessaging log on one of the problem clients has the errors as per below

Firewall or proxy issue would be my guess.

thanks again, but anything specific with the firewall or proxy that he would need to check? Maybe specifc ports that need to be open, rules, etc.

There are far too many variables for me to guess that what the problem is on your network. You will need to work with your network team to track down the issue.

Hi thank you. Our network engineer made a change to the firewall (he didn't want to say what he did). FEP seems to be updating on most of my clients now. I still have some clients that are showing Inactive though. I will give it some time to see if the status changes on them.

I have another questions though. When i look at the monitoring, it shows me that it failed for those clients, but if i look at Forefront, they have been updated to the latest definition.
