Is it possible to limit the number of concurrent users running a OSD TS

Hi all,

We are currently deploying Win10 to our estate via a wipe and load Task Sequence.

Fixed desk deployments are being done out of hours, the problem we are having at the moment is mobile devices. Management are wary of the impact to the sccm infrastructure of too many a users running the TS at once. Currently we are managing this risk by drip feeding machines into the collection thereby limiting the number of machines the TS is available to, but the Comms to users detailing when they can upgrade is proving to be resource intensive.

 

Ideally I want to push it out to all users at once as that makes the Comms nice and simple. Is there a way to limit the number of users running a deployment concurrently?

Hi,

I am not aware the ability to limit a task sequence but it is certainly possible use a collection based query to limit the deployment.
