OSD PXE Boot image

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Im having issues booting to the boot images ive created in SCCM. Every time i PXE boot, it does not boot to the boot image. I get "the windows boot configuration data BCD file from the pxe server does not contain a valid operating system entry message." Status 0xc0000098

I have created my two boot images via SCCM x64 and x86 -  Both have the "deploy this image from the PXE-enabled dp' box checked. I have distributed them to the distribution points and i can see them in the remoteinstall > SMS images folder.

On my distribution point properties, PXE is enabled, allow this to respond to incoming pxe request is checked, and enable unknown computers is checked.  WDS gets installed on the the distribution point. My task sequence is set to use the x64 boot image i just created.

I can open up WDS and my server is listed. but there is nothing in any of the folders, boot image, image etc.... Is this something i need to add manually???

Thanks for any help!
