I was wondering since we are phasing in SCCM to an existing WSUS based network can we shut down the WSUS Server and have SCCM take over handing out updates to Client machines of the network that do not currently have the ConfigMgr Clients installed. We usually redirect the client computers with a Group Policy to a WSUS Server, but if we remove this GP will the clients just start grabbing thier updates from Microsoft update site? We would really like for all our client computers to grab from the SCCM Site we control.
