User pop up notifications

Hi Guys,

I'm sure this question was asked more than one time ...

I'm looking for an option to have massage pop up windows to notify users about pending reboot.

Does someone has any experience with it?

Currently, WSUS is not integrated with SCCM, just looking for a way to notify them.

Hi,

Many use this http://blog.ctglobalservices.com/configuration-manager-sccm/kea/new-version-of-the-coretech-shutdown-tool/  and powershell is also just widely, but there are no builtin feature for it.

Don't use the shutdown tool. Use Powershell App Deploy Toolkit instead.
The shutdown tool might be seen as malicious by some AV

There is even a built in function in the toolkit called "Get-PendingReboot" which you can use to check whether there is actually a reboot pending an then use a notification popup to notify users or force a shutdown.
