I am currently on a Windows Server 2008 R2 with WDS installed, successfully done a capture of a Windows XP laptop, and deployed it to another laptop(exact same hardware/brand/model number), so no HAL issues
but capturing the image took 3 hours (16GB, compressed to 6GB).... deploying took half an hour.... i assume that the capturing includes compressing the image.... is there a way to NOT compress the image when capturing(to reduce the time)? I've searched around, and know that you can use ImageX with a WinPE Boot USB, and set the commandlines on ImageX not to compress when capturing("\compress none"), but is there a way to do it in the automated procedure for WDS?
